Interactive Self Balancing Robot - BalanceBot - Complete Project Kit is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The Interactive Self Balancing Robot is a fun and challenging STEM project that combines motion sensing, motor control, programming and 3D printing into one intelligent two wheeled robot.
Using a Kypruino board, an MPU 6050 gyroscope and accelerometer sensor and an L298N motor driver, the robot continuously measures its tilt and automatically adjusts its wheels to stay upright. It performs 200 balance corrections per second, while the onboard NeoPixel LEDs and buzzer provide visual and audio feedback.
Designed for makers and students with some electronics experience, this project introduces robotics, sensor fusion, feedback control and motor tuning through a fun and practical STEM build.
Perfect for makers, students, robotics enthusiasts, workshops and advanced STEM education.
Highlights:
- Automatic Self Balancing: Continuously adjusts its wheels to maintain an upright position.
- MPU 6050 Motion Sensor: Measures tilt and movement using a gyroscope and accelerometer.
- Smart Feedback Control: Uses sensor fusion and PD control for real time balancing.
- Interactive LED & Sound Feedback: Onboard NeoPixel LEDs and buzzer indicate balance, calibration and operating status.
