The Smart House & Street Lighting for Dark Skies is a fun STEM project that combines environmental sensing, automatic lighting, programming and 3D printing into one interactive educational model.
Using a Kypruino board, an LDR light sensor, a warm white LED and the Kypruino onboard NeoPixels, the model automatically detects day and night conditions. The street lamp switches on only when it gets dark, while the house is illuminated using the onboard NeoPixels to create a realistic smart lighting demonstration.
