Introduction to Electronics
& Robotics with Kypruino
Discover microcontrollers, electronic circuits and robotics through a practical workshop created for complete beginners aged 12+. Build real projects, programme with visual blocks and watch your ideas come alive.
No programming, electronics or engineering experience is required. Participants only need basic PC knowledge and the ability to type using a keyboard.
Important language information
This workshop will be delivered entirely in Greek.
All presentations, explanations, demonstrations, practical guidance and participant support will be provided in Greek.
Participants should be comfortable understanding spoken Greek in order to follow the workshop and complete the activities.
Who can participate?
Recommended for ages 12+ — makers never get too old!
The workshop is designed for teenagers and adults who want to discover electronics, programming and robotics in a practical and enjoyable way.
No technical experience is required. Participants only need basic PC knowledge and the ability to type using a keyboard.
Why join
No electronics experience? Perfect.
Through the ROBO × Antoniadis partnership, we are launching a practical series of Level 1 workshops designed to introduce teenagers aged 12+ and adults to electronics, programming and robotics.
The workshop starts from the absolute basics. You will discover what a microcontroller is, how Arduino transformed the maker movement and how Kypruino brings these concepts together in a modern and approachable educational platform.
You do not need to know how to code. The programming activities use a visual, block-based environment instead of difficult C++ syntax.
This is not a lecture-only seminar. You will use a computer, connect real hardware, create programs, test your ideas and complete working electronic projects during the session. Basic PC use and keyboard typing are the only skills required.
Learn by making
Real electronics from the first minute
Explore the complete process behind an interactive electronic creation: connect the hardware, build the behaviour and see the result respond in real time.
Real Electronic Circuits
Get familiar with inputs, outputs, buttons, sensors, LEDs and buzzers by connecting and controlling real electronic hardware.
Visual Programming
Skip difficult C++ syntax. Create programs visually through the block-based Kypruino Studio environment using simple mouse controls and keyboard typing.
Microcontrollers
Understand how a microcontroller receives information, makes decisions and controls electronic components.
Maker Problem Solving
Connect, test, experiment and improve your creations with step-by-step guidance from the ROBO team.
Kypruino STEM Quest Map
Three hands-on maker missions
Each project is completed step by step during the workshop.
Mission 01
Buzzer Fun
Create your first interactive electronic program by controlling sound, notes and timing with Kypruino.
Mission 02
Interactive Piano
Combine user inputs and sound to build your own playable electronic musical instrument.
Mission 03
Traffic Lights
Program LEDs, sequences and timing to recreate a working traffic-light control system.
