RoboRover Core is an ATmega328P-class UNO-compatible embedded robotics platform for teaching, featuring dual DC motors with PWM on D10/D11 and PCF8574 I2C at 0x20, wheel encoders on D2/D3, analog A0–A2 sensors, differential LDR on A6/A7, ultrasonic TOF on D4/D5, shared I2C with OLED and expander, and on-board 18650 Li-ion with USB-C charge/protection. It supports open-loop vs closed-loop control, interrupt-driven measurement, PID speed regulation, state machines, I2C bus arbitration, and deterministic firmware structure.
