The Raindrops Detection Sensor is a simple and effective way to detect rain or water droplets in your electronics projects. It works by measuring conductivity changes on the nickel plated sensing plate. When water lands on the surface, resistance changes and the onboard LM393 comparator converts this into a clean signal for your microcontroller.
The module provides both analog and digital outputs, giving you flexibility depending on your application. You can fine tune the sensitivity using the onboard potentiometer to detect light drizzle or heavier rainfall.
This sensor is perfect for STEM education, automation systems, and IoT weather monitoring projects.
